Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School in Lake Oswego, Oregon needed books for their library. We saw an opportunity to help fill that need.
We set a simple goal: $10 = 1 book. No overhead mystery. No vague promises. Just clear math and a 24-day deadline before Christmas.
In less than a month, 21 generous donors from our friends, family, and community raised $1,806. That's 180 new books now sitting on library shelves, ready for students who need them.
Every donor's name is on our public donor wall. Every dollar was accounted for in real-time. Photos of books arriving at school were shared with everyone who gave.
For over 70 years, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School has been inspiring students to grow in faith, knowledge, and service. Their mission is rooted in Gospel values and academic excellence.
In 2025, the school provided $344,950 in financial aid to 69 students, making Catholic education accessible to families who need it most.
